Ali and Cory were so accommodating! I was planning a bachelor party for my best friend and they worked so quickly to help me plan on such short notice. They taught us everything we needed to know as a group of 10 that knew nothing about climbing. They made it fun and were great coaches throughout the day. 10/10 experience. Ali was the best tour guide ever! Went here for a 10+ group bachelor party and he showed us the best time rock climbing and exploring Joshua tree! Would highly recommend to anyone visiting the area looking for something thrill seeking afternoon! Cory was a great tour guide/rock climbing instructor as well. Our tour with Ali was AMAZING! My partner and I have never felt more comfortable with a guide (would highly recommend especially for any BIPOC or LGBT travelers who may be cautious about this sport). This tour was the highlight of our trip and ignited a new passion for climbing! Alis friendly and easy to get along with we genuinely felt like we were hanging out with a friend. And the climbing was magical! Ali picked perfect routes for our skill level, gave us so much encouragement and helpful notes (we really felt we improved over just a few hours)...He encouraged us to push ourselves and keep climbing further but was also supportive when we needed to take breaks.

My boyfriend and I wanted to learn from an expert how to safely lead climb, build and clean anchors. Ali was so thorough and it’s very obvious that he’s an extremely knowledgeable climber. We learned all the safety and technical details on the ground and had a chance to practice before doing it on the route. We now feel like we have a solid beginner level knowledge of outdoor sport climbing and are ready to continue progressing with practice. Had an incredible day climbing with Ali and  Joshua Tree Lizard! Ali immediately understood what I wanted to achieve with our time and gave me an awesome mix of practical/ theoretical instruction and pushed my climbing to a new level! Had an amazing time and would def recommend!!
