Embarking on a rock climbing adventure guided by Joshua Tree Lizard guide, Ali, was an experience beyond compare. From the moment we met, it was evident that we were in the hands of a seasoned professional. Ali not only possesses an impressive repertoire of climbing skills but also an innate ability to impart knowledge and instill confidence in climbers of all levels. Their expertise was apparent as they meticulously assessed the terrain, ensuring our safety while pushing us to reach new heights, both literally and figuratively. Throughout the journey, Ali exuded passion for the sport, infusing each ascent with enthusiasm and encouragement. Their genuine love for rock climbing was infectious, making every challenge seem conquerable and every summit attainable. Moreover, Ali demonstrated a profound respect for nature and emphasized the importance of responsible climbing practices, leaving minimal impact on the environment. This conscientious approach not only enhanced the overall experience but also fostered a deeper appreciation for the breathtaking landscapes we encountered. Beyond the technical aspects, Ali fostered a sense of camaraderie among our group, creating a supportive and inclusive atmosphere where everyone felt empowered to push their limits and celebrate each other's achievements. In conclusion, my adventure with Joshua Tree Lizard and Ali was nothing short of exhilarating. Whether you're a novice seeking to conquer your first peak or a seasoned climber in search of new challenges, I wholeheartedly recommend Ali for an unforgettable rock climbing experience.

Ali and Cory were so accommodating! I was planning a bachelor party for my best friend and they worked so quickly to help me plan on such short notice. They taught us everything we needed to know as a group of 10 that knew nothing about climbing. They made it fun and were great coaches throughout the day. 10/10 experience. We will be coming back for years to come!

Ali was the best tour guide ever! Went here for a 10+ group bachelor party and he showed us the best time rock climbing and exploring Joshua tree! Would highly recommend to anyone visiting the area looking for something thrill seeking afternoon! Cory was a great tour guide/rock climbing instructor as well. Don’t look anywhere else for a guided Joshua tree trip these guys are the real deal! 10/10 experience!

Ali and Corey were awesome! Came for my cousins bachelor party and they were incredibly funny but also professional. Very laid back and let us choose our adventure and accommodated each of the guys in our big group of 10. Definitely want to come climbing again with them

Our tour with Ali was AMAZING! My partner and I have never felt more comfortable with a guide (would highly recommend especially for any BIPOC or LGBT travelers who may be cautious about this sport). This tour was the highlight of our trip and ignited a new passion for climbing! Alis friendly and easy to get along with we genuinely felt like we were hanging out with a friend. And the climbing was magical! Ali picked perfect routes for our skill level, gave us so much encouragement and helpful notes (we really felt we improved over just a few hours)...He encouraged us to push ourselves and keep climbing further but was also supportive when we needed to take breaks.

My boyfriend and I wanted to learn from an expert how to safely lead climb, build and clean anchors. Ali was so thorough and it’s very obvious that he’s an extremely knowledgeable climber. We learned all the safety and technical details on the ground and had a chance to practice before doing it on the route. We now feel like we have a solid beginner level knowledge of outdoor sport climbing and are ready to continue progressing with practice. Would 100% book again with Ali at Jtree Lizard when we are ready to learn more!
